Set lines about 8AM in 110 FOW on a nw troll and First fish was a 14# king on a 3 color magnum caramel dolphin spoon, then a small laker on a braid diver 225 back. Turned and trolled steright east at 150 caught 2 laker 7-8 # each on a silver blue dodger and aqua green fly on braid diver 160 back. Divers both #2 settings. Had one rip on a planer flat line w 2oz snap weight that promptly got int the 7 color. Lost the fish but fortunately unable to untangle and lost no gear. Fished from about 8-130. All in all pretty slow, no baitfish and very few marked fish.

Yes it was, lot of boats out, many out deeper than us, but little going on. Marked more fish and bait out of NB last week but fewer takers. I was surprised at the king given the recent reports from the south end but we'll take what we can get.
