Watched most of that ice yesterday while in Port Huron...that ice had been bunched up in the south end of Lake Huron, along the Canadian shoreline...the heavy East wind blew it toward the river and it came for hours.....no way it was fishable by boat......did see one small boat at the foot of Black River...underneath the upright RR bridge....catching walleye.....Courtesy of TH as of 3-25-18 from the Junction Buoy Restaurant View attachment 304482 View attachment 304483 View attachment 304484 View attachment 304482 View attachment 304483 View attachment 304484

Found a little wiggle room between bergs last night. Lost one other fish not sure
what.

Drove down 25 this morn, there was a lot of white ice on Lake Huron toward the Canadian side. Looks like it will be awhile for boat fishing on the SCR. Maybe that will be the last of it.Went across the bridge on the black river on military street. Ice in the black on both sides as far as the eye could see from the road. Scr is jammed on the us side, and mouth was packed. It's gonna be a few days.
