Taking my maiden voyage in the new boat today going to head to sputnik area.
Checked out a Erie chart I have but no OHIO border listed on it????
How close it that to the border? Do the bait shops around Sterling have lake charts?? Coordinates I'm starting of with are 41.50.20 and 83.10.15 pulled off DWF site.
Thanks for any help.

This shows the border. Its easier to see if you use the slider in the upper right corner to turn the NOAA chart down to about half way. The lower left corner gives Lat Long for the cross hairs in the center of the screen.

Bottom line sells OH licenses. I think a one day is $11.

it's a long boat ride form Erie Metro. You would be much better off going down to Sterling or Boles.

i always thought the ringing bouy was just called the radar bouy and that sputnik was the red and white bouy about a mile or so to the south west

Sorry for the late report,, went up north for the youth weekend right after fishing.
Maiden voyage when good, we fished in and around the pack in 23 ft of water just out from stoney point. We caught fish pretty constantly but no size to them our biggest 2 were only 8".
Thanks for all the help/input.
