I went to SH this morning, i got a late start, i wasn't sure how it would be as windy as it was yesterday. i got on the lake about 8am ran out to 60 fow, i got 2 riggers set and had a fish on before i could set the third one, a 5 # king, i went out as far as 90 fow, came back into 70 fow and hit another king 14# about 10:30, i called it a day about 12:30.
i talked to 1 other boat they had 7 i think ?, they got there's between 60 and 105 fow.
both of mine were in the 60 - 70 range 35 to 40 down.

i am going back again tomorrow, but i will be there by 6am.

Nice job on the fish! Try to get to 105-120 fow. We found most of our larger kings in that water. We found steel, lakers, and browns in 60-80 fow. Magnum spoons were hot.
Good luck

Way to get em, Bucky. It seems you are doing a little better each time out.
Thank you
right now my electronics are just so - so.
Friday i am get a new Hummingbird 587 color graph put on, i am hope that will help too.
that 14 pounder yesterday was a blast, i took me about 15 minutes to land it, it is challenging fishing by my self.

i will be headed back to SH in about 20 minutes.

If you would have gone to 105-110 fow yesterday out of South Haven, you would have passed the fish. Water temp was 50 at the pier heads. Just saying. Water temp is everything!
