I'm a newbie. Like to read the reports and thought I'd give one of my own for the first time. So be easy on me. Second time out this year as a new Salmon fisherman. Fished straight out of South Haven Pier in 90 ft of water Wed. evening. Caught 1 king 90 ft water 40 ft down on a moonshine glow spoon on down rigger . (Don't know the name of spoon) but looked like a green dolphin. Caught a steel head about an hour later after trolling south and then turned back north and got back into 90 ft of water. 40ft down on the same moonshine spoon that I caught the king on . Water temp was 55 on top and 45 degrees down 40 ft down. We fished 4 down riggers and 2 dipseys all with spoons. Marked a lot of fish in the upper half of the water column. Flies weren't as bad a 2 weeks ago but still bad. It was a beautiful evening with only a couple of boats out.
