Any reports of ice,snow,cracks or fish? Gonna venture out in the morning.

was there Saturday and there is a crack not far from shore that was open. used planks to get wheelers across.

how was that crack this morning? it was tight sunday in that east wind. The dnr was sitting there on their sleds checking us as we came in. He was nice and asked a couple of questions then took off after a group of snowmobiles.
Ice/snow and cracks were fine yesterday. Fishing sucked but probably was just us.
No, it wasn't just you. Our group of three got a goose egg too.
Location location.... 17 slob perch and three eyes to boot! Others in "area" did quite well also...
Crack was open maybe 10-12” this morning

Caught 3 fishing all day bouncing around. 2 got off at the hole and 1 missed bite.
how far is it off there to get to the deeper water (miles)?
what kinda ramps do you use 2x10 wood or folding ramps and how long?
I got bi fold 91” ramps didn’t need any ramps. Widest crack was 10-12” with the E wind. At night everything was close ****. What u consider deep water? 5.5 miles to 23ft 3.5 to 18ft
thanks for the info 25-28' at least its not as far of a drive as going off the east side
