Online reports (nodak.com and such) don't sound good for SE South Dakota, but we're going anyway. Leaving as early as Wed. Morning this week. Looking forward to a good time, hopefully there will be a lot of birds and a lot of shooting, despite the reports that I've heard so far.
Once I'm there, I'm willing to drive any distance to get birds...
Snows are still further south the recent snowstorms have push them back south. I hunt with a friend in Yankton SD and usally we don't get birds there until first of march with the better hunting there in mid march. My friend said there are no birds there to speak of but alot can change if we get a good warm up out there. If you don't find them in Nebraska will probaly be holding them there.
