These 3 threads are closely related. One of the predictions that Jim Johnson made what that Smelt would be up this year. Aliwives feed hard on young smelt. Last year, there was not many aliwives to eat the young smelt.
Hopefully there is alot of smelt out there. I heard the same report as Mike did, and our sources are probable different.
