My wife got me this last year for fathers day, Its a lot of fun. Sometimes I will hold the door open a little longer than usual just so I have some flys to shoot.

 

When you get to sloshing around in ankle deep salt , it should be near deer season by then....

Isnt all salt- sea salt?? Detroit was onc on the sea, thus the hundreds of feet of salt under.

I'm already thinking of a way to bastardize one into a margarita maker for my deck.

 

I bought one a couple of years ago for Blo-boat deliveries and it is a ton of fun to use. The first time we used it was after leaving Mac Island and we got swarmed by biting flies right away when we hit open water. We had a long running gun battle and went through a few salt reloads trying to kill anything that flew. By the time we got to Leland we had hundreds of dead flies and a decent layer of salt in the cockpit. I had a few offers from other boaters to purchase it after they saw what it did and how easy it is to kill the little biting insects.

 

I just got this toy from Cabelas yesterday (on sale for $35) and it is FUN. It shoots salt in a birdshot-like spray. I have summer flies figuring out a way into my house and I needed a solution, lol. My wife thought buying the Bug A Salt was a stupid idea. That was until there was a fly in the kitchen that she couldn't get to but I was able shoot it out of the nook it was hiding in.
I've used it on flies, moths, and even a spider.

 

I’m excited for the class action against these products when people start realizing the salt destroys their wood floors and carpets...

Are those speed loaders reloadable or do you have to buy a new pack after you use them?

There often isn't any bug to clean up. If you shoot inside of a foot, flies explode. [emoji1787]
