I registered mine this afternoon. It was 8.26#. I only did it because a friend of mine had one at 8.13 and I thought maybe I could bump him out. We will both be gone by Saturday. Fish must be running smaller this year. Two years ago I was gone with 9.5 in the first week.

Use caution, three cracks (Linwood area of the bay) opened up today and there is quite a bit of water around the cracks.

We took four fish last night and I got two this morning.

Yeah.. Don is an old retired guy who fishes allll the time. I've seen him on Mike Avery's show before. He knows the Bay like the back of his hand.

Back from a good night. I got bumped and never made the top 50 yesterday. I was 51st.

Tonight I best that. I am in 6th place as of 7:00 PM with a 10.65 fish.

Limit catch and it only took about an hour. I wish all my trips could be like tonight. Most fast and furious action I have seen this year. My buds could not catch a thing. Once I hit 5 fish I packed up and still had a good 30 minutes left of fishing. So much for my hating an East wind.

Way to go. It's nice to know that local boys can do good. Get them boys out there and in on the action then sit back and enjoy.

Good thing the boys from the west side can't get over there often, otherwise you lucky east siders would be getting bumped out left and right! The tough bite over here has made us learn to work that much harder for our catch.

Just kidding, I'm sure you guys put in plenty of time on the ice for your fish. Great job on some real hogs!
