selling about 6 year old shappell 4000 (4 man shanty) In good shape. Has 2 small holes patched with duct tape for last 4 seasons, have had no problems with tape coming off. Fold out ski's on bottom still work good, one could use replacing after a season or 2. Floor is carpet type with offset holes on opposite sides and in good condition. All cords in poles still attached and good shape. Just use last weekend but caught me no fishies. Asking $150 unless I make a quick sale, I will end up keeping. Been layed off and need to pay some bills.
Too big for car. I would say folded up its about 5' x 4'. Probobly 5' x 8' when set up, and 6' heigh. Never measured, but if it sounds close, can do it for you.......Ralph
Nice meeting you Frantz and thanks again. Will see how much I'm working around then, might just make it there(either or both) Well the shanty is sold, and I will be sending a donation via snail mail. Thanks for a great place to advertise with other fellow sportsman. This has to be the best site on the web for anyone at all who enjoys the outdoors.
Should have set that darn thing up while you were still within reach!
Brought it in the house to thaw and all that damn snow and ice was in there and it leaked on the carpet. Wife complained about the smell. I folded the shanty and told here the wet carpet and smell were from her damn dog!
As she slapped me, I then knew it was because I had no clue where those two posts go. Where do they go? Along the side above the windows? My 3000 only has one pole that goes dead cennter on the top.
