Somewhat interesring. Seems like I saw something like this 20 years ago. It wasn't a loading magazine just single shot but it held the string and gave you a rear handle similar to this. The downside is poor anchor point so poor accuracy. He would need to work on a sight system that is inline with the arrow. When you do that you lose draw length.

Saw this the other day pretty cool, one thing I know for sure is you better have deep pockets if you were ever going to fling that many arrows with broadheads attached.
