Fished a small lake around Scottville this morning and got nothing but a few dink perch and gills. Drilled around 40 holes and moved all over but could not find fish. Fellow fishermen had similar results and one guy stabbed a nice pike. Anybody check Upper Hamlin today?

There were two guys on upper Hamlin in between the open holes and neither did any good. The ice is pretty marginal with the hole to the east of the ramp open water with white caps on it. Any one who tries it needs to use special caution!
