ended up with a limit (of perch most of you guys wouldnt keep!) 7-9"...more like just a ton of 7's with three 9"s
started out in front of the barracks, nothing for 2 hours....trekked all the way back and a hair north of the access in about 5' (looks like a half mile off shore), and finally found them at 4pm
there were some keepers down there (9-12"ers), but i couldnt keep their kids off the wiggler....so i pretended i was the government and took their kids away for child abuse (whether thats right or wrong does not matter...i was pretending to be the government)
if you want to know exactly where i was, head out of the launch on a line 15 degrees to your left....and look for the giant pile of garbage the some neanderthals left out there from sunday (probably 5 lbs worth of shucked pistachios, cig butts, half smoked cgars,the skeleton of some sort of shrubbery, and a few other objects that i failed to commit to memory in disgust)
the ice was solid...the top 3"s is white, the bottom 9 is clear

) he really got into them about 10' away from me, he caught abuot 20-25 in about 30 minutes, most were 9" or better and then he left, long walk back before the rain, i wasnt that smart.. i got wet.. still lookin for my first limit this year and runnin out of time..
