I been told that a road killed deer even with a road kill permit can not be used for night time predator hunting? I see in the trapping reg's under Bait that "You may use parts of furbearing animals as bait in trapping; however No other game or protected animals may be used as bait. This deer would be bait but with no traps. I see nothing about hunting. I would say that this would be legal... but maybe not? Any help would be appreciate.

Providing you had permission, (road kill permit) to possess the deer it is Ok to predator hunt using a deer carcass. You have the trapping part correct.
