How much plastic do you thread on your jig before running it out? Saturday, I was catching 3 to the other guys in my boat to 1. Same jigs same tail, except my worm was only threaded onto the hook about 1/2" the other guys, about 1". Once they changed to 1/2", they matched me 1 for 1. Anyone else notice if that amount can make a difference? It sure did in my boat.

I always run the hook out of the bait so that it will sit parallel with the river bottom.

That just depends on what lenght your plastic is. I use 4" FinS.

My uncle ran into that yesterday when he was fishing with a couple of us. Soon as he fixed the plastic to be parallel he started catching fish. With the length I am not sure to much. But all I can say is that I use a 5 1/4'' zoom fluke. and the eyes just attack the crap out of them.

I just picked up 100 Wyandotte Worms. SHHHHH! Don't tell Hotwired that I'm using something other than FinS sometimes.
