Met my eldest sibling for dinner and he gave me a little gift. A really, really clean 1967 Single Six with all of its original packaging and paperwork.
Right down to the oil paper. This beauty has never had the transfer bar "upgrade".
Trigger is phenomenal.
And both the mag and standard cylinders are fluted.
I am floored... best gift ever.

That is a wonderful gift.

My first 22 pistol was from Herter's that looks just like a Ruger Single six. It was made in Germany. I had to wait quite awhile to finally get it. It only cost me $23.00. I still have it but it has not been shot in years. It dispatched a lot of coon and yotes over the years.

Ahhh, the days when you could get a firearm through the MAIL....no mass shootings. Back on topic, sweet pistol right there!
