Not cool at all.... I know they have found them in Erie before, but it's quite disheartening to see them now..

This is a huge issue for Lake Erie and even more so for Lake St. Clair. With the shallow water throughout Lake St Clair it will be a "hatchery" for these fish.

Not to make light of this at all but they have had confirmed Asian carp in Lake Erie for many years now. If I remember right it was in 1996 that they first found them.

It's not a good thing at all for our fisheries, that is for sure!

ps i fish st clair frequently and the only thing i have noticed about this year compaired to others is that the lack of ice allowed this fish to really mass up in both numbers and size.. this year i have already cought new personal best in perch muski small mouth and walleye ... no sign of the asians less those standing on shore..
