Yes Sir! Only saw one boat south of the Black River @ noon today but they are catching them off the wall. And there is some ice flowing in the middle channel.

I was on the Can side today for a couple hours. Got one right off the bat, lost another and that was it for me. But was great to get out on the water.

i saw guys catching limits just before ice, in 40 mph winds, id believe it

It’s true. Got out 4:30-5:30. Got a couple. Seen 5-6 caught also. No minnow

With ice still coming down the river I would not fish alone, better to have two sets of eyes looking for ice. If one of your sons doesn't wanna make the trip you wouldn't have to twist my arm much at all.

LOL ok ill message you saturday evening once i know i can go or not. Ive never fished that far up either so would be kinda winging it....
