We are starting to get quotes for an in-ground pool at our home. We are in Kalamazoo. I'm meeting with HD Pools out of Three Rivers on Monday. They were recommended to me and I've seen their work as well. They look to be very professional, reasonably priced, and act as a contractor to handle the job from A to Z.

I know of the main outfits in the area, but I'm sure there are others that service Kalamazoo that I'm unaware of. Anyone have good/bad experience to share?

I personally have been having a pool for 7 years. Apart from the obvious: chemicals, electricity, water, etc... unless you get a heated pool (which costs more $$) you only get a couple months use out of it. And there are hidden costs (for example you will need a decent cleaner like https://intexpoolpumps.org/best-above-ground-pool-cleaners-in-the-market/). So just be ready for some extra expenses.
