What are the methods everyone uses? I saw on American Shooter a bucket full of solution that you dunk your weapon in, let it soak, then dry it off. The liquid contains cleaners and lubricants. Looked like a great idea to me. The smallest bucket of stuff was around 1 gallon for $35. There is still time to write a quick letter to Santa! ;)

Has anyone used this bucket technique. What other ways do you clean your polymer handgun?

Same way I clean my other guns. Just gotta becarefull on what chemicals i use, some can "eat" at the polymer. No problems w/my Glock.......and plus, the polymer is just the frame, not the internal parts that need cleaning...so I wouldn't worry about the "bucket".

A couple of friend of mine simply use a bucket of odorless mineral spirts to dunk and wash there pistols in. If I can find it, there is a home made solution called Ed's Red, consits of mineral spirts, transmission fluid and a few other things, works like a dream.
