Now that deer season is over with i was wondering what i should plant for next season. I tried BFO this "last" year with little to no luck. only had 3 deer sightings in it, and not any sign of browsing.the plot was about 1.5 acres but im gonna expand it to 4 acres this year. The soil is sandy, and has a ph of about 6.5. I was thinking on planting corn since there is little cover on my property. Also i have freinds in the farming business so i have access to farming equipment. Would corn be the best option? or try something else? Thanks alot for any input

If the soil is sandy and you have access to farming equip. a 2 acre plot of alfalfa or possibly an alsike/ladino clover mix and another 2 acre plot of corn would be a nice mix.

I don't have too many positive things to say about BFO after this past season. Other than it grew really well! LOL!
