I stopped by Palmer Rd. Sun afternoon to see if anything was going on. About 2 doz vehicles/folks out trying. Talked to one guy who said it was ssslllllloooooowwww and only an inch or two of ice. Still open water in the area. I'll wait a few days.

You should have seen it at daybreak Molson. At least 100 people out there. Slow wasnt the word either! how about just plain ole stopped!!

I did however see the biggest perch of my life. To bad he wasnt interrested in any of my offerings though!

Does anybody have a good reprot from around that area. thinking about heading up that way fri. Are there any canals around the area that produce fish. My spot off metro might not be ready by friday.

If you fish that area on the weekend try to get as far away from the crowd as possible.try to find weed beds.

Anybody been out there lately. Thinking of going Sat. was wondering if anybody else was gonna be out. Maybe some bay ice expert could show me the ropes, then I would love to return the favor on St. Clair.
