I was in Port Huron yesterday to review a real estate appraisal and one of the comparable sales was located on Prospect Street which is on the north side of the park. After looking over the house, I drove down around the bend to the lower wall parking lot. There must have been about 20 fishermen, but I counted 53 fishing poles mounted to the railing. Some of the poles were not in the water. What's up with that? Is someone renting them or just bogarting the railing to prevent others from having a spot?

What species are they targeting? Do the guys cooperate by pulling up lines if someone has a wild one on? What is the basic rig?

Hey "leapin lunker", can't say for sure what's going on with the rods, someone could of ran into town for a bite to eat and his friends were watching his gear.

Browns, Steelhead, Salmon & Walleye can all be caught off the wall at this time of year.
