Fished today 2:30 pm -7:30pm water slightly murky today.Nothing no hits,tryed everything.Fished at the end of the water plant on 12-09-03 had a steelie on shortly after ariving after 2:30pm but it got off.Stayed till 8:30pm.Only hit came on black prisim bomber.Tryed spawn and minnows also.I think the fish are done in the river for this year.Steelhead and brown trout fishing this year has been the worst ever.Last year I caught them through out the whole winter.Knowing me though Im sure I,ll be back to try again though.

typically they slow down this time of year for me.
Jan and Feb on warmer sunny days can be great.

we will be back in pine grove saturday morning again and will prolly fish all day... gonna try to get in the middle by the circle or further north... will be 2 of us with an ice shanty so stop by and say hi if anyone is out.... tightlines

Any fish being caught at the end of boardwalk by the black river? Worms, shiners, spawn or what else is being used there?

I am thinking of showing up in that area first on Saturday, noonish or so. Let me know here. thanks.
