Hittin the pond tommorow to try for some slimes. I need help decieding where to set up. Hows the water clairty up near brandenberg or fairhaven? Any of you perch hunters been seening any northerns?

There is no muskie spearing allowed on Lake St Clair.
That might have something to do with why it is one of the best muskie lakes in the world. You can't eat them anyhow, why kill them?

You can't eat them? I've always thought pike taste pretty good, musky doesn't taste anything like that? Huh...

The DNR advises that no one eat any muskie. By the time they arew of legal size they are loaded with toxins. Besides, by the time they are of legal size they are old fish, Give me a barely legal tasty little pike to eat any day.
