Pickney State Game Area turkey hunt

Does anyone have any experience turkey hunting on the state land in the Pickney area. If my son or I get drawn that is, it will be his first turkey hunt. I have been told that there is a very good turkey population there from friends who deer hunt on the state land.

Thanks alot for that good news, I can hardly wait! My son is 13 and just getting tem to come will be almost as good as getting one. Thanks again!
