Yes, it was me..I caught her in about 20 fow on the bay ..Blue/slvr Do-jigger..I was only fishing about 15 min when she hit...My brother came over to help me out and when she went through the hole about 10 ft down.I said "Oh man its a hog" and my brother said, no it only looks about 8#..She took a few runs and ran into my other line. And after about 3-4 min I iced her and thought she was about 11.5#.....So I put her on the scale and it said 12.7#......33".(news printed 32"),,,,,,I fished for about 2 1/2 hours more b4 heading off the ice about 5:45....We only picked up 2 others about 4# and a 12# Lake trout....It was pretty cool. my biggest so far had been a couple 11# 31"..So this was exciting...Going back this weekend,..Hopefully the slush will harden up, to make the travel easier.....Thanks for your comments...Tom

Congrats Tom. The second place finisher was a friend of mine. His dad ended up placing I believe 19th place. It was a close finish there with you and Brad. He said that you were weighing in your fish right in front of him. Again congrats.:D

Way to go Tom! Persistance pays off!
You must not have had "Turbo" with ya. LOL

I fished shallow Saturday and only picked one about 6 lbs.
Fished 17 fow on Sunday and only picked one about 5 lbs. Conditions were brutal on Sunday.

Congrats.

Tom, congrats again. Hope the luck continues this spring and hopefully there will be a few big females left in the river for the spring run. Wish I could have been out there with you guys. Will talk at you before the weekend.

Grizzly.
