Everything looked perfect, early start, good chop out of the NW, overcast skies in the morning, water was a tad clean but that shouldn't make too much difference, Emerald shiners to die for..................we're going to kill em!
Headed to the same area in 18 fow off the Johnson that I limited out on Friday in a tad over 2 hours. Everyday is different as we found out. Made a few moves in the same area with marginal success, ended up running over by the Belle with the same marginal results. Ended up back in the area we started and picked away at them till we had enough to keep me busy for a couple hours on the cleaning table. I tried some new rigs made by RJT today but although they did catch some fish, the boat rod bite was pretty non-existent. Slip bobbers were the ticket today. Anyway, that is it for today’s report.
Since some of you guys are giving me crap about my cooler pics (catch 1 limit and take 50 pics of it with the fish rearranged, here's today’s pic ............................................of my dog!

OK, since I went out without my lucky cooler (I think that was the problem  and I also changed my camera to add the date stamp, I guess I can post a fish porn pic of today's catch: Ended up with 120. Quit at 1:30.

Looks like the same cooler to me!!!!!!
I think the old guy needs glasses! ;) The cooler in that pic is twice as big as my lucky cooler. Guess that is why the fish look half as big. :p Oh well, we had fun fun today and the one arm bandit (my son with a broken arm) didn't miss many fish this time out.

That is one fine looking dog. Did you trade the lucky cooler for the dog? LOL Glad to hear Jr. is getting the hang of perch jerking with the cast.

From what I've seen in the past,I think that kid could bring in a fish with the rod in his mouth and using his right ear to crank them in!!!:fish:

Nope, not the same cooler. The other one looks like the dog chewed on the edges. Gonna guess that John just poured one cooler into the other for his fall pics from a couple years ago.:hide: Always looks good that way. Note - date says 2007:16suspect BUSTED !

Note to self: Watch your backside when Gone Fishing is around.:16suspect

2007!!! Dang, I didn't notice that when I was setting it up.
Jr is definitely using this broken arm thing to avoid anything he doesn't like to do and cleaning fish is one of them. I'll let him off the hook for awhile but he will have to pay me back with interest! :)

He will probably be ready to clean fish next spring when all he has to clean is 12 walleye and not 100 perch....Smart kid!;)

Nice to see the ol hound dog again! And nicer to see you bangin the perchies. Been a tuff year for me for sure on both the wallys & their cousins. Whats all this crap I hear about Canadians checking bait? and anchors? I guess they will eventually drive us all off. Don't they realize their own people don't go to their fly-in resorts? Not a good thing.
