So last year I got at least a half dozen guys started into our great sport. Well one has been passing on the tradition this year a lot and it's a pretty cool feeling to know you started it all, I recommend everyone help keep this sport alive and get some new people started. I loaned him a spear and a few decoys, Here the pictures he's been sending me!!!

That first pike has really awesome coloring!! It's funny how spearing has come full circle. When I started spearing in '95 you could've walked onto any lake and been the only one spearing.

Just in the last few years I find there are a lot more people getting into spearing also, everywhere I go seems like I can find someone to talk spearing with now, lol!!
