I just purchased an 02 suzuki ozark 250 used, but in great shape. The ony thing i dont like about it is the rear tires are a bit worn down so i am wondering if you could put some ITP mudlites on the rear? would that be to much? would it bogg the engine down because of their size? Any input would be greatly appricated.

Any time you change tires to a bigger size and more aggressive tread you loose HP and Torq. How will this effect your Ozark I do not know. I do know that the Mudlites are a very aggressive mud tire.. If you can get them in the same size as your stock tires then it may not be that bad and you may not loose alot of power. If you can't get them in stock size or close to the stock size then I would find a different tire to switch too.

Stick with the factory size and you should be fine.

I switched off from my original Goodyear's Trackers to
a set of "Swap-Lites" (very similar to Mud-Lites) and
have not seen a noticeable difference in any loss of
power or speed in my Polaris 500.

Whenever you start messin' with tires and alter the factory
sizes your gonna' loose power and handling UNLESS you have
altered your suspension and engine components to meet the
change in tires.
