Hello All,
We hunting around the Mio area today and came across some good hunting. This was my brother and I first upland hunt together. He brought he Brit Riley with us, it was his first hunt ever.

We managed to flush 5 woodcock in 2.5 hours. Riley had one really great point the others were flushes. We managed to bag 3 birds today and are now hooked for life. Can't wait to get out again.

Here are some pics

Congradulations on your new addiction:lol:.....You are ahead of me as I have never chased the northern upland birds, I typically stick to the ditch parrots and waterfowl... I almost hate to try it as I really don't need another thing to want to do this time of year!! Isn't fall great..........!!

Congrats on the first hunt. Just remember they are not always that easy. I like the 1100 too!

Congrats. Sounds like a great hunt. Now chase some of those doodles over to the west side of the state for me.
