Tear em up
Been out for a couple hours, 1st trip this year, really nice but no bites yet. Sharp temp break at 75-80 ft. Out in 200-230 fow, occasional marks, last one was at 160.
2 for 3 so far. Meat back 205 wire diver. Pink dot and fly on wire back 180. Lost what I think was a lake trout on high slide diver back 250. Paddle and fly, cant remember which paddle lol
We ended 5 for 7. 4 adults and a juvie

Now that I'm home, here's the scoop. Wire back 180 with pink dot paddle and fly took 2. Meat rig on wire diver back 205 took one. Rigger down 75? With paddle and fly took the small one, and rigger down 85 with white paddle and fly took an adult. Lost what I thought was a laker on high slide diver back 250 with paddle and fly- can't remember color. And last fish I believe was snagged. Couldn't stop it or turn it, was out past 700 ft when we finally got lines pulled and turned around. Got above it with 50ft of line out and just popped out. Nothing broke or bent, figure it was snagged. Came on high slide diver. That was the last "fish" of the night at about 945 so just went in as everything was already pulled. It got chaotic at dark for us. 3 fish came after 915

Late report from last night, only 1 for 1, just before 9. Meat rig, white spin doctor and UV bait head. Dipsey, down 65 ft. Nice tank, 24 pounds.
Based on someone11 report, I need to invest in wire divers. Have went back and forth about it, looks like I need to pull the trigger. Anyone have a suggested setup? Rod/reel?

I was only running spoons on my copper/Weighted steel and they never went. Had paddle flies/meat on all my divers and riggers, that seems to be what they've been wanting lately at least on my boat

Wobble, I go with a Convector 45 DS (high speed) on a Diawa Wilderness 8’6” medium heavy with a twilly tip. 300’ 50# braid backer, 1000’ wire.

Late report as I was dealing with some issues on the boat Friday night. Was only able to run a 4 rod spread, no divers, due to the issue. Went 2/3, with a 19lb and lost big fish on a moonshine silver flounder, 90 down up by the point, and a 23lb on a chilly willy on a 300 copper.
