Vann Buren County, 25 feet up in a steadt northeast wind. Should have picked a bigger tree.

Overlooking a tract of hardwoods between Pines and a Swamp.

It's a little more open then I prefer on day three, but things were fairly quiet yesterday.

This is a really good section and in this abput 300 square - have taken about 70 percent of my deer, three in the 140 range.

Going to be a short hunt this morning, back to work this afternoon.

I understand completely. About 300 acres of corn just short of a mile north of me still standing. Makes the season last a little longer.

So far watched a turkey fly down and a squirrel scamper through. So far have only heard two shots, both distant.

Will be watching for that pic Rich.

I was in a big pine in washtenaw but after getting a little seasick opted for the groundblind at 8. Just had a nice tall basket 8 come by at 25 and a doe with a nubber head in tow before that. Not seeing the fast action chasing like the past couple days tho.

Didn't get seasick, but while it was dark I got a little off balance.

Have not seen any deer yet, but it is a nice morning even with the wind.

Have heard two more shots in the distance.
