Fished my favorite lake this weekend. Couldn't find the fish. Looked deep, shallow, and everywhere in between. Checked all my honey holes. Nothing. Didn't even mark um on the vexilar. 10 - 12 hours fishing, about 100 holes drilled ......... 3 Gills!

The wife was picking on me but I told her "Honey, that just leaves more fish for next weekend!"

A local told me he thought the water in the lake "turned over". The warm water thats down deep switches with the colder shallow water. he said it happens every year and it shuts the fishing down for a week or so. Anybody ever heard of this before?
