Ok guys, if it hasnt been made clear that im bored being off the water yet, it certainly will be by April!

How many of you have a non traditional lure that you use with good success on the salmon? Found a bass/pike/walleye/musky/etc bait that they like to tear up? Have an unusual way of rigging a particular lure? Have a secret home made lure? Strangest lure you ever caught a salmon on?

As I said in the Rapala/Stickbait thread, I think im going to give the baby shallow raider a shot this spring and see what happens. Ive got a good feeling about it...

Im not sceered... Im making egg imitations out of orange ear plugs and glow in the dark beads. I know they work.

yozuri surface squirts,there a salt water bait.have cleaned up on them at times,when the salmon are staging.cabelas carry them in there salt water catolog.

This brings up another question ive been meaning to ask that could be somewhat related.

Have any of you guys ever tried running daisy chains, spreader rigs, or umbrella rigs for salmon? It seems to be a popular saltwater trolling technique, but I have never seen or heard of anyone doing it for salmon.

Theres a Lure out there thats no longer being made.Kikuchi Minnow 4 1/2 " 18 gram .Silver and Chrome.This lure kills kings when they are coming in to spawn.2 guys last Sept (6 days 46 kings)released 10. 32 on the Kikuchi Mimnnow.There is a 3 1/2 "size out there that works good too.Have only found these on closeout deals and am not trying to sell only .If you want to see a pic I will send you one.You can troll them in shallow water or as I do cast them at night.I know that every year they hit something different but this lure has killed them the last 3 years for me.This lure was made by A-net
