Finally going on a night hunt for the coyotes. Made up some hot loads for my centerfire. I can't wait.

I think that centerfires are illegal for night hunting must be a rimfire or shotgun, might want to check that out.

I know no slugs or buckshot are allowed (as well as centerfire rifles) but what does that leave for shotgun loads? Are #4 turkety loads ok and will they do the job? 12 gauge is the only thing I have right now that will do the job.

it's been legal to hunt with a centerfire rifle at night with no light for a few years now. Good luck and enjoy them coyotes.

A #4 turkey load will work fine up to about 40 yrds, i just bought some #2 heavy shot, should do the trick.
