Took the kids fishing on Houghton Lake Saturday afternoon. Was using light jigs tipped with worm and did real well on some very nice healthy blue gills. Didn't get on the water till noon but still managed 32 gills, 2 crappie, 1 rock bass and a 16" walleye, the walleye was our first legal eye this year from HL. Finally was able to break out the new Fish Tumbler scaler to see how it works and it out performed my expectations. Planning a fish fry for tomorrow afternoon;) Lake was very busy with many people boating and having a good time, despite all that the fish were still biting and we had a great time!
