I’m hearing a lot of white Sox fans are upset with their signing of 76 yr old tony larossa. Hasn’t coached in 10 yrs. at that age, is there enough in the tank for a long baseball season?
8 hrs a day and going home everyday is one thing. But spending half the season on the road, sleeping in motel is another

Gardy didn't work out worth a bent stick. Not sure this cat will either, but he can't be much (if any) worse than what we've had since Leyland left.

Look at just the Starting pitching staffs alone that Leyland Had. Compare that with the **** gardy had. Not even in the same realm, not even the same planet.

I think Chris Fetter is a good hire. Makes even happier that they hired AJ Hinch.

Sorry I pasted so many gaps between tweets.

Sources: #Tigers hiring Chris Fetter as their pitching coach. Fetter, who played a key role in Michigan’s run to the 2019 CWS final, is regarded as a rising star in the industry. His teaching approach is ideally suited to Detroit’s group of young pitchers.

Fetter’s hiring by the #Tigers is a significant win for Detroit within the AL Central. He was the top choice among a number of high-level executives in the #WhiteSox front office for their pitching coach job.

Hinch and Fetter worked together with the #Padres years ago. They could have been the manager-pitching coach pairing in Chicago, if the #WhiteSox hadn’t hired La Russa. Instead, they’ll lead the division rival #Tigers.

Well in a fairness gardy had some pretty good pitchers in his tenure in Minnesota and never did anything with it.

Santanna (2 cy youngs)
Radke
Milton
Lohse
Reed
Joe Nathan

Add in there morneau and mauer for...

3 batting titles
2 league mvps

Gardy was the ultimate underachiever. Holds the record for most consecutive playoff losses at like 12 in a row. Swept 3 straight divisional series.
