I have a possibly much older trap out in garage, rivited teeth, a hand made 4 spring that I cant get any info on, has stamped name on frame,,,, square bolts, and rivits,,,,

nothing on pan, has a name stamped into the bottom of the frame,
S. VAUGHN ? (sp) its a hand made trap from the looks of it, I tried to research it but had no luck, I was told it was probably a blacksmith trying his hand at trap making. it was a hand me down left in garage years ago.

I do agree with you it is old and original but i would not set it to catch anything. By seting this trap, you may break a spring. Then it's an old broken trap. Value will drop.

dont tell the racoons,,,, very quick and humane :) was hoping is wasnt a skunk:lol::lol::lol: its in the garage now,,parked,, :)
