Bought a GAMO Wildcat Whisper .177..................I don't know why. After years with PCP guns I thought I needed a .177. Trigger could use some work and a much larger scope. A good winter project. Over all I would rate the gun a B plus. I wouldn't get rid of the PCP guns..........................just something different
How about a Trifecta Challenge..................a Fox, Grey, and a Black in one day???????????????????????????????
Challenge accepted! I did see all three on one outing this year. Maybe I'll get lucky & get one of each. The most I got in one day last year was 2 - a fox & a black.
Well, I came close - 2 fox & 1 gray. Had a great time with my granddaughter. She is 11 & is just starting to shoot with a Crossman 760. Man those things have changed since I was a kid. Just a plastic POS now. But I digress.....Great fun in the woods! She insisted on carrying them! lol
Great picture..........................good to see a youngster with something other than a STUPID CELL PHONE in their hand..............you are lucky to have a great hunting partner
I agree with you Mohl on the overkill, but I have been having problems with my .22 air rifle & wanted to be sure there was no bad shots or wounded squirrels especially when it would be the first animal my granddaughter would see harvested. Good thing too because the first one was on the ground, was double lunged & heart half gone, but it managed to crawl about 2 feet before expiring. Had to explain to her why it moved at all after the shot. LOL!
