I use an ams retriever now on my oneida but want to switch to a spinner so i can set up another bow for the wife or someone else i take out.
So which one holds up best, which ones do you have to mod the handles on? Whats your opinions on the best for the money spent?

They'll all break, the Shakespeare ti20 is what needs a bigger bolt in the handle. I buy my ti20 for about 14.50 a pop some years I've gone all year without breaking one then my first shot at the state shoot I broke one, so it's just one of those things. My biggest problem is stripping the gears when getting an arrow stuck shooting out of the airboat, those things don't have neutral or reverse so it gets to be a pain. The old school muzzys were solid I have no experience with the new ones. There heavier on the bow but you can replace just about any part you break on them. Just my personal opinion but I'd steer clear of zebcos, I've yet to see one make it through a night.
