Heading in to plant today. Mowed last week. Plan is to spray, fert, then seed. But am I better to seed, fertilize then spray. Just trying to make sure herbicide has the least effect on seed germination. Spraying Gly( round up). Barssicas going in today adding rye labourday weekend.

Spray first and then broadcast your seed after the Gly dries. If you spray Gly on your seed there is a good chance that at least some of it will not germinate.

I sprayed mine in the morning last week and drilled my seed the same day. Even though most of the seed is covered when you drill it, there is often some seed still on the surface so why take a chance when you don't have to. Spray first and then plant after the herbicide has dried.
