I may be in MI for Labor Day Weekend and adding a little vacation time. Where is the best place to dove hunt on 9/1? Willing to pay guide fees if necessary for a really good experience.

You can hunt geese and teal here that weekend. Doves are protected in michigan year round. Our small game season opens sept 15.

Oh, I forgot to mention all the hunters who think there isn't enough meat on a dove or the ones who think they are pretty at the bird feeder people.. There is a lot of them on here, probably even reading this thread scoffing at the meer mention of Dove hunting.

Dove hunting is a ton of fun and they taste great too!!!!
