Fished last night in 17 fow out of Linwood. Smacked 13 of them Caution should be used as open water is still out there.

Be careful crossing the 1st crack. It was about 6' last night. Ice is 10"" at 2nd crack. Very few crossed yesterday afternoon

There has to be a pivot somewhere tho right?

Not sure about today but we didn't find it last night. It was covered up good with slush

Sometimes you drive a ways to find it, and it's junk too. A lot of times the ice breaks and is ****** at some pivot points

I went out with him last night we did not cross the crack that is along that 17 ft break line. Depending on where you come from could be 2nd or third crack. Saw a group go passed the deepest crack and they were fishing next to open water.

I would be really careful crossing the first good crack. We got a quad stuck in the slush. Actual crack did not appear to be that wide, at least where we crossed. Not saying it isn't open in other spots.
