Musky Opener

We are heading out for the musky opener on Lake St Clair next weekend and have never really fished the lake for muskies before. We are looking for a good place to start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

First off, welcome to the site. You've come to the right place for info on musky or any other species of fish.

There's currently a thread going about the "Tin Navy Sails Again." It's all about the opener next week. I think you'll find some informative folks in that thread.

You could always just join the outing and stick with the pack, everybody is welcome.

. We usually launch at Harley and fish from Harley to the Salt on the opener.
