I just saw a report on another site said the ice had started forming for the last 36 hours, and the lake has skimmed over. In another week we can get them through the ice.

We talked to a guy at the launch who got 38 pike one of the days before we went out, by jigging with minnows.

My friend snatched a 20 + lber 2 yrs ago in dec on a jig right in the power plants channel off the bottom that thing looked fake it was so big
and just to brag I just picked up my 11 lb walleye mount and it looks awsome west mi taxidermy did a great job again

They were in the jigging armada that surrounded the plant to the north, and kept us from trolling the breakline at the mornings progressed 14-20fow.

Congrats on the wally. I have a pic of my 11 lber I mounted in my gallery.
