Does anyone know of any lakes in the muskegon area that are safe? I'm guessing some of the smaller inland lakes should be good by now. Thanks for any responses.

Much of White lake is ice covered and fishable. So are the marina's on Muskegon Lake. I was on both today and took home 20 very nice gils.

The Muskegon Chronicle said that there was 4" - 5" on White Lake in the marina's last weekend. Should be better this week. I drove by Snug Harbor last night and it was still open.

Spring Lake is starting to freeze over well, we've been out there doing ice rescue training all weekend, and have over 4 inches of ice in Pettys Bayou.
