Was out trolling for walleye on mullet lake today.... not many marks and no takers..... but got a stickbait traumatized by a big ol trout. Fun fight.... took pics and released him. sunk the planer board and was peeling drag....
Never caught a walleye.... thought fall was good time to fish for them..... beautiful day on the lake tho.... 5544BE48-D801-438E-B76D-01503E890607.jpeg 5BCC09AA-B738-4F3A-A03A-5214B7B49718.jpeg

You found a nice one! Congrats. No bites for us in 2 hours of trolling.

Well done on the trout. My son and I have packed it in for the season. He said he cant justify the hours we have spent trying to catch fish and coming back empty handed nearly every time. We do so much better on the smaller lakes earlier in the season it is frustrating. So much water and so few fish.

Good luck to those who keep after them. As for me, I will wait for the ice.
