A copy of the MUCC TV tape of the big bait pile shown on Feb 5 and repeated on Feb 8 (in my area GVSU-PBS) was turned over for viewing by the DNR law division. Any word yet on if they are going charge the baiter with excess baiting?

You will have to ask whoever it was turned over too. I know nothing about it. Going to be hard to prove in my opinion.

From what I understand just from posts on this site is;

Was it bait, was it pea stone, was it decoy bait?

Who can testify as to the film being an accurate representation of what was there? Is the person going to testify against himself? How about the 5th amendment?

Fortunately, for innocent parties it just does not work like it does on TV.

CO Reports for 03/14/2004
DISTRICT 11
CO Dan Bigger obtained a warrant for the subject that was shown on the Michigan Out-of-Doors show hunting over, what appeared to be, an excessive amount of bait. The subject wanted to plead guilty but the judge would not accept his plea. The case is set for a pre-trial.
